We visited this restaurant after a day of hiking and birdwatching on Bonaventure Island. We ordered terrine, the fish soup, pizza, shrimp, brandade de morue, and the beef. Although the chef was working by himself, the food came out quickly. Definitely our best meal after 3 weeks on the road.

This felt like fine dining. The food was amazing, I had seal shoulder with parsnip puree and my partner had the octopus. Each element of the plate was a treat! We also had the Black Whale sharing platter. The two men serving is came often, told us about the food (I haven’t had seal before) and were very attentive and hospitable. Highly recommend! And cant wait to come back. They accept dogs on the terrace
A nice quiet cafe / bookstore to grab a hot beverage, snack and book. They've outdoor seating at the back and a wide selection of books in French. The folks working are very friendly and the hot chocolate I got was delicious.
